Close-Up Magician
His routines contain elements of both traditional magic and modern effects. He favours the use of technical sleight of hand over the use of multiple gimmicks and his tricks and routines are structured to produce a high number of consecutive magical moments with the least amount of byplay.
His tricks are usually performed in either a "Table Hopping" or "Mix and Mingle" format, although on occasion he performs statically in a "Parlour Magic" style where he presents his magic to small groups.
Nigel regularly performs at Wedding Receptions, stimulating social interaction, where his individual style of magic creates a major topic of discussion amongst totally baffled onlookers. He also performs at Trade Shows using magic as a tool to break the ice with the potential customers of his employers, Car Dealerships (for product launches), Banquets, Balls, Charity Fund Raisers, Golf Clubs, Cocktail Parties, Restaurants, Nightclubs and Wine Bars nationwide.
Over the years Nigel has performed in nearly all of the large hotels in his region including: Hilton, Holday Inn, Best Western, Marriott and Moat House, as well as numerous other large hotels and function suites nationwide.
