Cockney Duo
The inspiration for Del & Dens Cockney Show is drawn in part from the Rockney style of Chas & Dave, the act who immortalised the Duos sea-side home town with their hit song Margate, in 1982.
Two ex-pat Londoners themselves, Del & Den are now delighting audiences with their own Cockney Show featuring their special take on many of the hits of Chas & Dave, (yes, even Rabbit), as well as medleys of good old cockney songs, and Rock & Roll, all performed with infectious enthusiasm, energy and good humour.
They provide 2 x 45minute sets, comprising a mix of Chas n Dave (with backtalk), Classic Cockney & Rockney sing-alongsongs, comedic, audience participation songs with some of the 50's,60's and 70's biggest hits also included to allow for dancing asthe show rocks towards its conclusion..
The act is self-contained with regard to PA using top quality Mackie equipment, Lighting and Backdrop are also provided if required.
Today Del & Den are fast acquiring a reputation as one of the circuits most entertaining Cockney acts, as they perform their show around the country at Clubs, Holiday parks, Private Functions and specially themed events!
