A Night at the Movies - complete with props, anecdotes etc.... including songs from Breakfast at Tiffany's, James Bond medley, Chariots of Fire, Ghostbusters, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Greatest Showman, Despicable Me 2, Blues Brothers Medley etc...
With their experience and connections with the world of Opera, the West End as well as musicians from other walks of life such as Rock & World Music, Classical Entertainment is able to offer a range of musical services - some traditional some innovative - to provide entertainment to suit almost every occasion, from small private functions to larger corporate functions to small-mid scale productions.
The simplest and most compact form of entertainment, ideal for smaller private or corporate venues.
An original twist on this well known format - the waiters will begin to have an argument which will then lead into song, culminating in a duet where they make up and be friends again.
Once the surprise has happened the singers will then return shortly afterwards and perform up to an hour of further material.
A madcap mixture of Classical music interspersed with audience participation such as chorus sing-alongs (wordsheets provided), a 'Name That Tune' competition - this can also include a 'sing off' between the parties that guess the tune correctly, and Waltzes & Can Cans.
Opera Scenes/Productions
For the more discerning occasion Opera Scenes or small-mid scale productions can be performed. These can be in either costume or Dinner attire and either to piano accompaniment or chamber ensemble.
Typically the works of Mozart, Bizet, Donizetti or Lehar and the Strauss family would be included in these productions.
Rock Opera
In the vein of the RPO, West End and numerous Crossover Artists such as Vittorio Grigolo and Katherine Jenkins - the division between Classical and Pop/Rock music has become increasingly blurred. In fact it has always been blurred with many well known songs such as A Whiter Shade of Pale and All By Myself having been based on Classical pieces.
Featuring either a Solo or Duo act performing to specially arranged symphonic rock backing tracks, or with a small Rock Opera ensemble the show would take the listener through the history of Rock music.
Artists featured include The Beatles, Procol Harum, Snow Patrol, Keane, The Sex Pistols, Queen, The Hollies as well as some original compositions.
Musical tributes of well known Classical/Crossover Artists. This is not a lookalike but a sound-alike tribute. All the Musicians are classically trained Artists in their own right.
In addition to performing the music attributed to the Classical Artists our Performers can also take you on a journey through the Artist's repertoire and career, including many anecdotes.
Available either Solo, Duo/Trio, with accompanist, chamber group or simply backing tracks. All our bookings can be tailored to suit the occasion.
